Professor Killeen will explore how large-scale radiology audit can reshape patient safety and clinical value, highlighting the hidden challenge of patients not receiving the right scans, the impact of European regulatory frameworks, and how AI can enable real-time audit and insight. With expertise in neuroradiology, molecular imaging, and a leadership role in Ireland’s National AI Implementation Framework, Professor Killeen brings a unique perspective on system-level change in radiology.

Session: AI in paediatric neuroradiology: transforming diagnosis, overcoming barriers, and shaping the future
Professor Colleran will explore the evolving role of AI in paediatric and fetal neuroradiology, highlighting advances in image segmentation, lesion detection, and outcome prediction. She will address the unique challenges of applying AI in paediatric settings and discuss strategies for overcoming barriers to clinical adoption.
