Debbie Sudding

Debbie Sudding is an experienced sonographer with over 20 years of expertise in diagnostic ultrasound. Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, she moved to Ireland in 2008 to take up a role at St Vincent’s University Hospital before later becoming Clinical Specialist at The Hermitage.
In 2009, Debbie identified a gap in private ultrasound services in Ireland and founded The Ultrasound Suite. In the early years, she also worked as a locum sonographer with Global Diagnostics, where she first met Caroline Byrne – a connection that has come full circle many years later.
Under Debbie’s leadership and with the support of a dedicated team, The Ultrasound Suite has grown steadily and established a strong reputation for high-quality patient care. Following its recent acquisition by Medica Ireland, Debbie is delighted to be part of the wider group and looks forward to continuing to nurture The Ultrasound Suite, while also supporting the development of Medica’s obstetric services in Ireland.
